Firstly they are hugely understaffed, they are not answering phones because they only have two clerks in office. This is not a mark against them. Just to note. Overall a very helpful facility, General staff of the building know the system well and can be quite helpful. A very low energy environment; there is a nice bit of art in the front courtyard although two of the commemorative pedestals have been obscured unnecessarily by potted plants.

They never answer the phones. If you have any faith in humanity, it will be lost after attending any type of traffic court here. I asked the judge if there is an extra cost to get on a payment plan. She said no, but then when I received my judgement, it stated that there is a $10 fee to initiate the payment plan. Obviously integrity is not one of the values of Beaverton Municipal Court.

Sent to collections; didn't even know I had a ticket. If you're going to fine people without their knowledge from all these "Big Brother" traffic cameras than you at least need certified mail. If a collections agency can find my new address, why couldn't you? Tried to call on several occasions during business hours, but no one ever answered. Sent in my motion to appeal via email after the collection notice; was emailed back with a denial and no explanation. Thanks for looking out for your own citizens...

According to all the previous reviews, I was expecting to have an awful experience. I went in to pay a ticket and everything went alright. The booth attendant was kind and helpful. Granted, it wasn't busy and I was equally kind, so I'm sure that influenced how things went. The interior of the building is quite old and a lot of things are kind of falling apart... Wonder what all the money is going to haha.

Then why does Google say they close at 430pm?!
8:30am
This is actually a super simple answer! If you call the court, or the number on your ticket, the court staff can step you through signing a form saying that you weren't the driver. In that case, they usually end up being dismissed, and should definitely work out in your favor without you or your son needing to suffer any penalty.
Sir, the Beaverton Municipal Court does not have copies of wills and would be unable to assist you. Additionally, I would refrain from posing that much info online.
There is a payment box right out front but if you want to see a judge there are certain times that will be on the citation that you received if it's a misdemeanor type charge. I was there last month and I think it was at like 12:30 p.m. and there are a bunch of cops that hang out there and help you out and stuff but you have to wait outside because of covid-19
Yes, but you need to get license thru court house in Hillsboro.
No, you have to go to Hillsboro courthouse.
Yes there is, not sure of the price for the license, you my have to get that thru Washington County in Hillsboro.
Beaverton Municipal Court is 8 miles or 15 minutes from (downtown) Portland.
Depending on your record and/or reason of being unable to make it, they may give you more time to get there or reschedule. Either way, you should always call in if you're going to be late or can't make it!
