The staff was fantastic. Customer service amazing. Hotel was clean. Size of pool was disappointing. We were given a poolside room. We did not use the pool once because of the size and number of other guests using it. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that plays live music and/or DJ every night that we stayed (Wednesday-Saturday) and they were loud. Made it a bit difficult to sleep. Location was fantastic. Walk out onto the boardwalk and ocean. We would consider staying again.

The manager was VERY accommodating when we arrived.. really nice young man! There were only about 10 parking spaces at the hotel, all taken. We had to park in their hotel lot that's down the street a little bit. The manager heard our concerns and made sure we were able to claim the first available spot at the hotel. Much appreciated! Our room was pleasant and clean with a beautiful view. I'd give 5 stars except in our room (104) the air conditioner sounded like the compressor was almost shot.. REALLY loud. We got used to it, but I was surprised that the noise for our patio neighbors was about 10x louder than it was in our room! Needs to be tended to. I don't recommend the coffee. Don't waste the cup. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!

The staff at the hotel was very nice. However, the quality of the hotel was questionable. The room itself was clean. The bathroom toilet didn’t flush correctly. The bathtub didn’t drain. My biggest complaint is the music from the bar. A live band played until after midnight both nights we were there. The bar/restaurant was a great place to eat though.

We LOVED our stay!!! Booked 2 nights and by the end of Day 1 decided to extend an additional day. The staff was wonderful. Very personable and super friendly to have casual conversations with. I don’t think the manager ever sleeps because it seems like he was there at all hours and was always smiling. We’d cross paths with maintenance staff and they always asked if our room was functioning alright. The cleaning staff was great. Front desk attendants were positively amazing. I can’t say one bad thing about this hotel. We hadn’t even left Norfolk yet and booked an upcoming stay. This will now be our hotel when we need to get away all thanks to the great people working there.

They have different rooms. Some say ocean view, that only means you can see the ocean. Ocean front room means your balcony faces the ocean. The ocean front is the one you want. The higher the floor, the better the view. Enjoy!

There is a lot on Pacific ave at the corner there should be a stand that has the logo of the hotel on it. It's right behind the Raven restaurant that's located across the street from the hotel.
No however, there's a variety of other choices for breakfast, one place i highly recommend would be Doc Taylors.
