Lovely hotel! The rooms were great, it was pretty fancy. The service was amazing, except for them taking a while to give us our toilet paper refill. The location was great, with the hotel just outside of town center! I hope to go here again when I come to Virginia Beach for vacation in the future.

Positive: Location of this hotel is terrific! Plenty of parking and restaurant options. Rooms are spacious and property is clean. Most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Shay is fantastic and worked to make this stay continuously better. Negative: Called to confirm room and requested feather-free due to allergies. Arrived to assigned room with feather pillows and down comforters. Front desk assured me is was a feather-free room. Showed them photos and waited three hours for an alternate room.

We love this Hyatt overall. It's clean and comfortable except for a couple things. Once, we stayed and were given a room that was pet-friendly which was really bad for my allergies. Thankfully, they switched us to a different room and all was well. The last time we stayed, they upgraded us to a king suite (pictured). It was really nice except the sliding bathroom door wouldn't stay closed and it was right in front of the toilet. Honestly, even on a good day, these sliding bathroom doors are very awkward. There is a gap in the door and many of them don't stay closed very well. They also have frosted glass in them. They aren't very practical if you like bathroom privacy.

This place is where a working professional wants to stay. Large, ergonomic rooms with desks and sofas. Clean spacious rest room/shower. Accommodating conference rooms. The staff is wonderfully spectacular. The menu/food is appropriate and not over priced. I did not use the pool or fitness room. I'll look forward to returning here.
