Amazing selection of new AND used gear! Seriously an outdoor shopping paradise. Sean in footwear went above and beyond to help my son and I find some sandals. They got many sizes, colors, and styles without any hesitation. Even told us to check downstairs in the used section to see if we could find a deal! Amazing customer service and attention to detail, great communication and all around extremely helpful. Would give Sean 10 stars if I could.

I really didn't want to write a bad review for next adventure. As a life long Oregonian and field scientist this is one of the only places I can get affordable gear for my family and I. But after three experiences in a row of rude cashiers, y'all need to hire better people. Today your cashier had their dog with them. Great! Dogs are great. Except this one lunged at my toddlers face and barked while I was trying to check out. The cashier was not apologetic and did not try to control the dog. My toddler hadn't even approached the dog. Shopping with a toddler is hard enough without worrying about them getting bit by a dog. I love your gear. Your staff consistently suck.

Love this place. There's always great service from knowledgeable sales people. You can find lots of great sales on new items and savings in their bargain basement and near finds like these cute roller skates.

I'm a 51 year old first time skier, and after much research I decided to focus on investing in properly fitted ski boots to go with rental skis as I determine what type of skis I will eventually purchase. I simply cannot stress enough the quality of knowledgeable service I received from Kyla. She asked great questions, listened to my feedback, and patiently fitted me for the right boots. I am extremely satisfied with the experience and purchase at Next Adventure. Thanks Kyla for your professionalism and help!

Fortunately, yes! I started purchasing from Next Adventure because they allowed my dog in to shop with me. The staff even enjoys her coming in.
Yes, we always take in good quality skis. If the skis are mountaed the bindings must be current models that are still covered by the manufactures indemnification (typically no more that 8 years old). Keep in mind alpine skis are "controlled items" held to the same rules as other controlled merchandise under our Occational Secondhand Dealer permit. So there is a 15day hold on the payout if the credit is not used the same day. Please talk to our staff at the tradingpost counter for more information.
They're made out of vinal, thanks for asking.
Yes they do. They also do rentals in Sandy. On the weekends they can sell out so go early.
They buy used outdoor great. You get money or in store credit which is very easy to spend. The basement is full of their used gear. It's a great deal.
Yes they do!
Bring them in to the Bargain Basement any day that we are open and we can take a look and see what kind of credit we can get you!
Physical cards given in person. Virtual cards found on their website at nextadventure.org Good luck
Probably, used even. They have most everything outdoor-related
They currently open with restrictions to capacity and customers need to wear masks. Current hours are 10 am to 5 pm.
Hi Andrew, Next Adventure does not offer gear repair. You best option would be to warranty the product with the manufacturer if it's covered under their warranty program. Another option is Mountain Soles and their website is https://www.mtnsoles.com/. Thanks!
We do offer repair services at our Paddle Sports Center. Your best bet is to contact one of our repair technicians to discuss the issue. Repairability will depend on the severity of the damage as well as the material that the SUP is constructed from. Feel free to stop in or call. They do, but it's the end of the ski season so they probably won't stock new ones again until this autumn
Timberline Lodge has the spring pass on sale as well.
They do sell freeze-dried food portions
Hi Danielle, Unfortunately, we don't buy rack equipment. Thanks!
The store will be open tomorrow. Call or go visit the store. They might have some in the Bargain Basement where they resell items traded in for new purchases.
Yes there is a basement and it is open to everyone.
Thanks for checking in with us! Unfortunately, we don't sell ATV helmets and gear.
Used kayaks range drastically in price based on condition and what model it is. Our used inventory also changes daily. Swing down to the Paddle Sports Center and take a look at what we have available today.
You should probably call them directly. They might not see your question.
They might buy it you never know until you go down there and try I cant tell you however you only getting store credit.
Thank you. I don't know which brands are the major brands. I know they carry Lowa shoes. I'd be interested to know if they carry Lowa insoles.
They will have a wide selection from budget to high end, and you can likey find used ones at a low price
No they don't. I'm not aware of any indoor ski lessons in the portland area.
