If I could give no starts I would iv been using them for a while now and I have make a complaint against Andrea Dexter she is very rude and unprofessional she she will see a name on a check and instantly you can feel that she is starting to discriminate against you saying they wanna see more activity in this account and will say that they are not a check cashing place I’m a member hear at this sound and your gonna tell mw if I have a check your not a check cashing place something need to be done about this lady

I have been with Sound Credit Union for almost 10 years and I have learned a lot about them in the last year that I am not happy about. A couple years ago I set up payments through there bill pay, and I would always send it 3 or 4 days before due date, a few months later I talked to my landlord and he said payment was always arriving late, so I contacted SCU and they said there bill pay was handled by a company in South Dakota and they were having to mail paper checks to landlords account in Washington, for some reason the could not go internet. They told me about there pop money service and said it takes 3 business days so I said okay let's do that but then after about my second or third payment I got an email today that payment was supposed to be sent out saying the schedule payment had been canceled.I called sound credit Union to find out why and they said because I'm only allowed to send the payment once a month and I had tried to send this payment 29 days after the last payment so I said okay and set it up for reoccurring payments on the 30th of every month then today I received another email saying payment had been canceled it did not give a specific reason why so I called sound credit Union to find out why and it took me 5 hours to get through to them and he could not really explain why. I just became frustrated with him and I said that's okay I have to go. I think it is time for me to move on to a different bank where I can get better serve customer service. it is almost like sound credit Union wants to control my money and tell me when I can spend it and how much I can spend.

Decided to switch my checking from a big bank over to a credit union. Wendi from the 36th Pacific Ave branch was very friendly and offered great customer service. I look forward to my future banking needs!! Plus I received my debit card on the spot and even got a Sound Credit union reusable shopping bag.

Hello! Sound does participate in shared branching. As long as your credit union also participates, you can conduct your transaction at a Sound branch. Please note, shared branching transactions may not be conducted through Drive-Thru Banking.
