I've probably stayed at over 3 dozen Hilton properties over the past 4 years, and can easily say, this was my least favorite experience. I can usually give a pass for some older properties, and tried to for this one. The first evening we noticed a few things that needed to be addressed. Most would have to wait until we weren't there, but I felt it important to share anyway: - Door knob from living room to King Bedroom door feel off and broke. It wasn't attached correctly and upon trying to open the door, it came off in my wife's hand, she didn't realize it, and when she let go, the handle fell to the floor and broke. - Dishwasher wasn't working/didn't get enough water. The dishwasher said "Clean" when we got to the room, but as we started to serve dinner to our kids, we noticed that they weren't clean after all. We assumed that perhaps they just forgot to run the cycle, as there was still detergent in the compartment, so we went to run it ourselves. Ran the entire cycle and the same thing occurred. Dishes were not clean and the detergent did not dissolve. - Large spot of black mold on ceiling in second bedroom between valance and window. Room smelt musty. Kids had cough on the 2 nights we spent here. -Additionally, the microwave over the sink wasn't functional, and they had placed a second table-top microwave on the eating table instead, taking up space. I later found out that when the built-in microwave was plugged it, it would blow the fuse to the kitchenette...instead of fixing it, they took the tacky approach and put a 2nd microwave in on the kitchen table. I went down to the front desk to talk through all of these calmly, not mad at all, but we did use 260,000 points (plus some out of pocket cash) to stay here, and these were not up to mine (and I hope Hilton's) standards. The night attendant was very friendly, thanked me for bringing these forward, noted the issues, and we made a plan to at least have the door knob fixed while we were out the next day, again, knowing that it might take longer to resolve the other issues. I stopped by the front desk that morning to follow up on the plan and let them know we were leaving and how long we planned to be gone. 4 hours later, no one had come by then, nor the rest of the day, or during our stay. We decided to leave a day early after having our 2 older kids cough through the night. Spent the night at a Hilton Garden Inn in Memphis instead in a beautiful clean room...the type of place I'm used to with the Hilton Brand. This room at Homewood Suites (Room 419) was not acceptable, and should be taken out of rotation until they resolve these issues. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

visited 3 - 5 June 2022: The room was clean, breakfast was light but adequate. staff were pleasant and helpful. My wife and I used the gym (elliptical and treadmill). None of the displays work and one treadmill didn't work at all. The breakfast staff person Saturday was one point however, the staff person on Sunday morning was slow to restock the juice/milk chest so both were warm. Plus you had to ask for water because it was not available in the serving area. Visited this hotel when it was first built so we know a better job can be done. Yet, if our options are limited as was in this case we would stay at a Homewood Suite Hotel.

Positive: The staff was friendly and the location for us was very good. The variety of the continental breakfast was great. Negative: The bed was not very comfortable at all. While there were small bottles of body wash available there was no hand soap or additional toilet paper. Good thing I brought extras.

Would have rather been near the mall and theater because of walking distance. The breakfast is great. Good selection but missed waffles and oatmeal bar. Beautiful pool and nice to see a basketball court. Employees were helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. Nice to have the kitchen and a separate livingroom.

I don't know. We stayed in room with two beds and a rollaway, but that was years ago.
