Had the Catfish meal. Wasn’t really in the mood for shrimp so I asked if I could do a couple of chicken strips instead and they agreed. They were great! Nice seasoning on the catfish and the chicken strips were perfectly seasoned and breaded as well. You could tell none of it was bought frozen and simply dropped in a fryer. The sweet tea was even great! No too sweet but just enough to make it delicious. With all that being said, they missed the mark on the mashed potatoes. Tasted like what you would get at a school cafeteria and the waitress could have had a little more pep in her step to get our order and our ticket but she was friendly. Over all, great place to eat!

A very pleasant meal in Gainesville. I had a chicken fried steak that had great flavor, and was fairly tender. The mashed potatoes were pretty good, and the gravy was outstanding. I had green beans as my second side, they were a little on the bland side. My wife had chicken salad and liked it. Our server was super nice, and the food was done quickly. We would eat here again.

Q was a awesome server kept up with everything and definitely made us feel welcome since we're outsiders. All the food came out in a fresh timely manner. Would definitely recommend this family owned establishment.
