This was one of the worse stays I've experienced! Door to room didn't close enough, there was a crack. Had to use all 3 locks to feel safe. Woke up to cigarette smoke coming into our room, GROSS! Outlet covers were not securely fixed, toilet bowl cover didn't even fit the toilet (it was too small) so exposed toilet bowl water, paint in bathtub was peeling, wallpaper peeling. The outside of hotel was filthy. Smelled like urine in some spots. There was a make shift ice maker inside. The only positive was family said breakfast was ok and beds were ok. I told our family to remove top cover on bed and use their own blanket due to concern about cleanliness.

The room was way over priced, the pool was filthy so disgusting, the room had many issues, very dirty cob webs, this place is supposed to be under “new management” but there were little thing that would be very inexpensive to fix and approve the appearance of the room. I will NEVER stay here again, nor any “Quality” inn, so gross. Carpet was nasty, leaves your feet black from never being cleaned, just cleaning would improve the room. I was sooo disappointed, I booked based on the pictures online, These pictures must have been taken 20 years or more ago, don’t walk but run as fast as you can, don’t waste your money. I booked so we could relax and swim but the pool was so nasty I was literally afraid I could catch something. NO WAY!!!

Lot's of noise in the area. Room has loose electrical sockets & missing covers. (Hey Gainesville Fire Rescue isn't this a Fire code violation?). Evening desk staff had your Gainesville goober attitude. Night desk clerk was very nice. This building is over 40 years old and showing it. Needs to be condemned & bulldozed.

Well I can't say much for our stay because we were denied service for our age. We booked through a third party(our first mistake) that did not have the age requirements on hand. We had this reservation booked and payed for 3 months in advance. When we arrived to check in (4 hour drive from home) the front desk lady was super hateful and rude about us not knowing it was a 21 age requirement. She just kept pointing at the sign, and blowing us off. It has been almost a month since our stay, and the third party has still not received their money back from this place to refund us. Every time we call there is never a manager available, ever. I understand the age requirement was our fault, but there was no reason to be hateful, withhold our money, and never let us speak to a manager.
