From beginning to end of our move Two Men and a Truck were super helpful. We initially had some scheduling issues and the office staff were extremely helpful to get it sorted out. When it came to the move the movers were fast, efficient and just great at their job.

Highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. Alicia in the front office answered all of my many questions very promptly and thoroughly. The moving crew, Mark and Marcus, were professional, quick, and very hard working. They took great care of my furniture and worked well together navigating down narrow stairs. Mark was very organized with his paperwork. After my terrible experience two years ago with an "eco friendly" moving company (slow, took smoke breaks, damaged our landlord's tree while parking the truck, poor customer service after the fact), I was a huge ball of anxiety the morning of the move. Mark and Marcus (and Alicia) made the process as painless as moving can be.

I'd give the actual movers 3.5 stars, however the office staff and business practices would get 1 star. The "binding estimate" for our move was over by 1,000 pounds. This means that they basically overcharged us by around $500. It's criminal how the estimate is only "binding" one way. Which is to say, if their estimate is over by, say a thousand pounds, they still charge you the full estimated amount. However, if their estimate is under at all, they will charge you the difference. It's quite convenient, considering this, that their estimate was over by 1,000 pounds. To put this in context, their estimate was around 4,000 pounds, and our move was actually 3,000 pounds, so this was an inflation of 33%. To make matters worse, when I originally called for the estimate, I specifically asked their representative if I would be charged based on the estimate or based on the actual weight of the truck (they weight the truck before and after loading). She assured me that my cost would be based on the actual weight if it differed from the estimate. I was very clear about this, that I was asking because I didn't want to be over-charged if their estimate was too high. So she flat-out lied to me about that. I even called before the move with an exact count of the number of boxes I would have, which differed from the estimate. Strangely, even though the number of boxes changed, the estimate didn't change at all. I'm not sure if this is a general practice among movers or specific to this company, but I wonder how it can even be legal. Also, one of the movers never wore a mask the whole time. We've used this company a few times in the past, but after this experience, we will be looking elsewhere for our next move.

Two Men and a Truck did a terrific job in moving me. They were professional movers who knew what they were doing. They handled my belongings very carefully. Plus they were so efficient -- like a military drill team! This showed up in the bill, which was about half of what I had expected. I will use them again and I highly recommend.

We do offer the protection film as a purchased item that would need to be ordered while booking your move. We do have neoprene floor runners on all of our vehicles to protect your floors as well.
Unfortunately, no. We do not offer storage. But there is a Public Storage next door to our office.
We do not have lift gate trucks, however, we can rent one if you need it.
