Everything you need, nothing you don't. In a great location as well! The Sapphire absolutely nailed the basics. We were able to check in early to a really nice standard motel room. Room: Spacious and well appointed. It looks more like what you would expect from a hotel in San Francisco. AC worked great on 95+ degree days. Just a solid room overall. The bed: much more comfortable than one would expect in a motel. Pillow-top mattress, with nice down pillows. No need to bring your own. Bathroom: Spacious, well lit, and tastefully done. Water pressure and hot water were excellent. Breakfast: Better than most. Your complementary bagel comes from a local bagel shop, instead of a sealed bag. Again nothing special, but what they do offer is well done.

I would highly recommend the sapphire motel to anyone traveling and wanting to be able to talk to the local downtown eateries and bars. The location is great. The rooms have recently been remodeled and the bathrooms are swanky. They have defrosting mirrors that have built in lights. Definitely a touch of modern mixed with old school nostalgia. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for an affordable option that’s within walking distance of bars and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay here. It really exceeded our expectations. They’re currently remodelling the rooms, and although we stayed in an unrenovated room it was still very nice. The room was very large for a motel room, which allowed us to spread out a bit which was great. The beds were really comfy, and the shower was nice and hot. It’s in a great location, too.

Started out great and then we realized how thin the walls were. Half of the motel is remodeled and the other half they’re still doing construction on, so don’t expect to sleep in past 8 or take a midday nap because it doesn’t stop. Our room only had the Ion channel so if you don’t like the Ion channel, I wouldn’t even bother with the tv. The workers were very friendly and accommodating though. Breakfast was nice and had a variety of items to choose from. It’s definitely what you pay for.
