Not sure what other recent customers experienced, but I an assure that this is NOT how customers are treated at Baders. Clearly he was upset at something else. There always has been a fantastic crew at this store and they are very knowledgeable and helpful with all things fermentation related. Yes, they are probably slightly higher priced than your supermassive corporate companies. But, the help you get here more than makes up for it and you help support the local community.

I’ve been brewing for about 12 years. From the beginning- Bader always has what I’ve needed and the experience to answer all my questions. It’s not just beer and wine. They have cheese and distillation equipment as well. There are classes you can go to. Yes, they have it all!

They have an assortment of stuff for liquor. I would recommend calling them with specific items if you're worried about them not having it.
Two people max at a time in the store. The do curbside pickup as well.
We carry plastic food grade fermentation containers from 2 gallons to 24 gallons that local restaurants and home fermenters use for fermented food. We do not have ceramic crocks if that is your preference. They are much harder to find. We also carry 1 gallon widemouth jars, however we are currently out of stock, we should have plenty next week.
You mean to refill? 😉
They have jars and bottles in an impressive range of sizes, but I'd recommend calling if you need specific dimensions
