Good people doing a difficult job

I would give a -5 stars I would. The level of discombobulation is absolutely ridiculous. You have to have an appointment enable to get an appointment. Designation on website between ADS and ARS do not align with what is required (according to "plans examiners") Plan reviews that drag on forever. Portland is more organized systematically! I've literally built and completed four projects permitted in Portland before this one in Clark county even started. This is completely unacceptable!!!! City leaders do something.

There is absolutely no reason why the permitting process should be this difficult. COVID is a sad sorry excuse for poor systems.

Very slow to respond to emails, phone calls and generally super slow. Everyone is experiencing pandemic delays and still manages to chug alone and even pay taxes.

If you cannot find a list of acceptable hardships in the county code, then you should seek the counsel of a land use attorney.

I own property at 12514 NE 95th St C-100, I have been trying to get a permit to finish some work since march 2021. I been told it is in review since may 19 2022. Haven't heard a word from anyone, can you help me find out what is going on. Thanks

Best thing to do is check weekly, maybe even find out who is "reviewing" it and call them directly. Absolutely ridiculous how little work salaried government employees do.
