I Took a cab. Receptionist was very helpful. Driver was on time for pick up. He came back and was waiting when I went home. They stuck to the price they quoted. Would use them again.

Called for a customer in a wheelchair at a little after 4pm. Called back at 6pm to request a time of arrival. Was told our request "disappeared" off their screen and it would be another hour and a half. Absolutely horrible to leave a disabled person with no other transportation sitting for over 4 hours. Wouldn't call them if they weren't the only cab in Vancouver. Somehow the drivers are all always in Woodland. Yeah, right.

Called a day in advance to schedule a cab ride to work, the driver never showed up or called me, when I called dispatch she said the driver drove around looking for me, but never called to find me. Found out they were looking 5 minutes down the road, but when I called 5 minutes after my missed pickup time I was told the driver is 25 mins away. Ordered an Uber instead.

So a week ago I wrote a bad review of the Vancouver Cab company, and It wasn't the company itself but the dispatch service. The person who I spoke with is no longer there as it turns out customer service was not her thing. With that I would like to reflect on Vancouver Cab company itself. They have always been gracious when it comes to getting me to work, and when life happens and for some reason they haven't been able to hit the mark they work with me on it. I have used Vancouver cab for 15 years now as I stated in my earlier post. The drivers helped me when my mom was ill and dying get her to the door and hospital visits as needed. I have seen drivers come and go and one of the best additions has been David M. Smart, professional and always helpful with his advisement on service. I think very highly of the drivers Jason, Kathleen and all the others who's names escape me. They have been personable and willing to be patient with me and get me to work and home safely. I always recommend Vancouver Cab because they are local and just down to earth company. I wish this company great success and continued support and business because they really are concerned for their passengers.
