Quite lovely. Bathrooms are well maintained. You can put in your kayaks a few miles up river then get out right at the campground which is nice.

Nice little campground above the Brule river. The sites are pretty close to together but the walk in site that our group was in was further away from being on top of other campers

Smaller campground in a pine forest, love the smell after it rains. A short walk brings you to the rivers edge and a canoe landing. Most of the sites are close to each other and have little buffering. There are a few drive in sites that offer a little more privacy. There are also a few walk in sites. Granted I only walked about 50 yards to get to the site, it was a little more quite. Love the setting of the campground but would only go back if I could reserve certain sites. The best reservable sites do go early, clearly. The garbage area was kept well organized...recycling etc. The bathroom was clean and mostly bug free. I definitely liked the effort put forth in keeping the grounds in good shape.

Fantastic! Beautiful wooded, quiet setting. Nice large picnic tables. Pick your site carefully because the trail to the toilet is rather round-about from many sites.
