Our experiences at Deschutes Animal Clinic have been nothing but caring and compassionate. They are our family's vet and have seen all our four of our fur babies. We want to thank them for all their kindness and support during our hardest time. We had to put our eldest dog, Bella, to sleep last week and it was the hardest thing we've ever had to do. Bella has been working with Dr. Smith over the last couple years since we moved here and we are so glad and thankful to have met her. She treated Bella like she was her own and helped her get through her sickest days. When Bella's last day came, she was having seizures that morning and they took us in right away. The whole team made us and especially Bella feel like family. They watched over her and kept her safe til the end of the day when we said goodbye. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our best friend and we couldn't thank them enough. We were glad that Bella was at a vet where she felt safe with the staff. That's all that we could ever ask for. Thank you Dr. Smith and everyone at Deschutes Animal Clinic! Keep doing the amazing things you do for all our fur babies.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the care team at Deschutes! Not only did they help diagnose and start a great treatment plan for a furkid we have spent thousands of dollars on to try and heal and over 7 years. They were able to in just a couple of visits. They are on top of their game with record keeping!! And are so amazing with every single furkid we have brought in. (6) They always have appointments available in a timely manner and make sure to have the visits necessary. The entire team is always friendly and so caring. They have impressed me so much. After coming from Germany of 7 years where animals are treated as children and care is more affordable, Deschutes has greatly lived up to their name. Thank you for the amazing care and continued care you are providing for our animals.

I took my sick baby in, she is a 1 year old corgi. The saw me same day, they handle me with a lot of care (I was scared for her) they ran all the tests, everything I needed them too. Happily with meds and a lot of tlc she is fine - thank you all.

Wow! These guys were great top to bottom. My dog got sick. They ran tests, explaining everything at each step (and cost $$$) before proceeding. I left with answers and a path forward to getting my dog well. Great team.

The short answer is "No".... You will need to park your car with your dog on a leash.... Then you call the office.... They are often busy, so you may get put on "hold" for a little while.... Then they take your information over the phone.... Then you wait & the Vet staff comes & gets your dog & walks them into the office (they all wear masks).... They take the dog or animal into the office to do the exam, tests, or treatment.... Then the Vet calls you with the results or recommendations, etc.... The one exception seems to be if you need to "put your dog or animal to sleep" (induce death) to stop suffering.... They will allow you to come be present & say goodbye.... We recently had to do this procedure with our Cat.... They were very nice, supportive, & did a very professional job.... Our Cat did not suffer.... The Vet & staff were excellent.... We would recommended this Vet Clinic.... Posted by Diane J. for via TF Moore, Tumwater, WA. 🤔😷😎😷😎
