One of my favorite sushi places in Seattle. Not super upscale but not cheap quality either. Good prices and the sushi was always delicious. Love their vegetable tempura roll, it's hard to find a good variety for vegetarian sushi options. Sometimes the wait for takeout was long but not a big deal. Parking can be difficult since it's on Market street.

Ordered takeout. Two items are missing from a combo meal and the Katsu chicken was completely spoiled. When the restaurant was notified by the customer that the chicken was spoiled they denied it and refused to take accountability. Horrible customer service. I will never order for my family there again

After going to many sushi places across Washington, this place is one of the better mid-high price range sushi restaurants.

Sushi I is reliable, consistent, not laden with calories or high menu price points . Seattle, Ballard wise this is a excellent choice for us. The service is attentive, food arrives quickly, has a nice ambiance and servers are happy you came. We can find hamachikama (yellowtail neck), whole broiled squid, great value in lunch bento boxes, non greasy tempura, competency and sufficient amount of fish in the basic sushi rolls we prefer. In this extended area —If you love complex, creative rolls from $13 -$18 with distinctive flavored sauce I can see Sushi I as my #1 recommendation. When we pick up wait times given are accurate. I will not eat at other Japanese restaurants here. If you are a new local that walks here. Ballard is a wonderful strip of restaurants, shops yet to us has in food the very upscale in price, excellent food often is too rich food but mainly for us in <$25 entrees an abundance of inconsistency in its restaurants, charring food too much, dried out when not called for, good establishments closing very early and the better restaurants having no reservations available days before, long waits at top moderately priced choices on a last minute decision to eat out, often a basic meal with just a single draught beer a tab is $80 for two and hardly much focus on health. —

All workers are wearing masks. Plenty of hand sanitizers as well as clean pens. No indoor dining.
