They pay same day for copper, aluminum, all that however they also don't pay quite as well. Overall this is a pretty clean scrap yard with good employees.. I suppose I should say that there is one employee there that's kind of rude but other then him there all friendly... The prices there paying are less then half of what you would get at metro metals where you will have to wait for a check in the mail though however

I have never left a review for anyone until now . I delivered 2000 lbs of clean sheet aluminum yesterday to them .I was paid a mystery number of 40 cents per pound. Last week I took the same metal to Pacific recycling and was paid .67c. a pound.... A difference of $ 534.00 that Im now out. I hand unloaded a combined total if 8000 lbs of steel and aluminum and employees avoided even looking my way and this place has a entrance so steep it took out my middle row of lighting at the rear of trailer . Over all, the the one foreign gentlemen I did deal with up until I was actually being paid was professional courteous and easy to work with....but someone else handed me the check . Hope this helps others avoid from making the same mistake I did . Jim Neaderhiser

Awesome place to recycle and they pay you cash for ALL metal. Must have ID and there is a limit on copper of a couple hundred a day and they take household items for .11 cents a pound! Easy and the workers are willing to work with newbies, explaining what to do to get the most money for your metal. It may be a little less than other places but you do not have to wait a week for a check! Four paws up fron me

Normally, this is a very convenient spot for me to drop recycling. However, they are currently CLOSED for some reason until Jan 25th 2018. I checked the website today wondering if they were open yet, and it says "open til 4:30pm", so........... Would've given 5 stars if I hadn't driven out there for no reason, and redirected by signage offering 2 other locations that aren't convenient. I will be looking forward to reopening next year.

10-13-18 12:30p I just called them. Saturday's they are open 8a-4:30p. They prefer (require) that patrons not arrive right at closing time. Say 30 minutes prior.
They pay you for all metal including engines um minus the gas.
The metal price varies per day and can be different from the begining of the Stock Trading day to the end of the Stock Trading day. Another aspect is how clean is your metal? That means, is there any foreign objects on the metal? Paint plastic or other metals such as screws? There is a huge price difference between the clean shiney metal and the dirty metal, so it's worth it to clean it. There are a lot of factors on metal prices, call around for the current prices on the day you want to go. Non - Ferrous = Aluminum, brass, copper, chrome and such are a higher value than steel value. The difference between this place and other metal recycling is the way you get paid. This place pays you on the spot in cash other places you have to wait for a check for the more expensive metals like aluminium which makes this place worth it. There is a weight limit per day so give them a call You would be surprised what 4 aluminum big truck wheels gets you, it's closer to $80 than you think!
Again they are open for Non Ferrous metal at least when I was there last week July 2021.
Did they change that since last month? Wow, this used to be an all cash on the spot metal recycling. It was no more than $250 worth of copper per day per person.
It depends on how much it weighs. Everything is done by weight on a scale. It also depends if it is clean or not. Meaning if it has other metal in it or other substances attatched to it. It is worth it to clean it because there is quite a difference in cash they pay.
Yes they'll take it but they only pay you if you bring in 500 lbs or more
10-30-18 I'm not up on the latest scrap metal prices. The last I heard was about $84/ton for ferrous (steel/iron) metal. If you take it to them, don't strip anything off. Anything & everything that is part of that bed can be included in the weight for ferrous scrap. However, if there are any metal parts from the bed -- or anything else you have -- that are non-ferrous (non-steel/iron) it may pay you to strip them off. Non-ferrous metals are worth MUCH more to the scrap/recycle businesses. Here's their home page: https://www.columbiarecyclingpdx.com They require patrons to be in the gate 30 minutes prior to closing. Hope this helps. Do you have an approximate total weight? Have you considered donating the bed since it won't make you "rich"?
No, they pay steel price only
