Hello, We recycle AC window or portable units. There is a $50 charge to drop one off and we will recycle both the gas and the unit itself. We accept larger units as well but I would call ahead for pricing. We do provide removal or “recovery” services but generally only for large industrial jobs as it’s quite expensive to mobilize the equipment and staff. If you’re not looking to recycle the entire AC unit and just remove the refrigerant gas, I suggest reaching out to an HVAC contractor for assistance. There is a place in Tigard, Agilyx, that recycles styrofoam and #6 plastic. They have a giant recycle bin in their parking lot.
