I was working with Shaun for about a week looking at a truck trading in mine. I was called on a Friday night and asked if I could get there at nine because someone made an appointment at the same truck at 930. I made sure I made it in and took their truck for a test drive. I came back and looked at the numbers as with all dealers they come in high I gave them the number that I said I would buy at and let finance do their job because the desk guy seemed incompetent. I was told to go get some breakfast and come back. While at breakfast received text that I need a co signer and that my credit was not good enough and that I need a lot of money down. I headed back to the dealership and was asked if I could put 13k down I laughed and left. I went to another dealership and bought at the payment I wanted and with a prime credit union at a great rate on more than they were asking( gilcrest vehicle). This dealership is dishonest and more than likely has very little buying power with the banks and credit unions as they had like 20 vehicles on their lot. I know this because I did Auto sales for about 10 years and can still structure a deal in my head. Would not send anyone here DISHONEST AND CONS.

**Friendly and helpful until I signed the bottom line** Purchased a 2018 Tesla Model 3 from this dealership. Good car, easy process & a happy customer. CONS: 1. The finance guy (Larry) tried to upsell me several services I know better than to purchase through the dealership and then got upset and snippy when I politely declined. 2. Bought the car on a weekend when the detail center was closed. Was promised a loaner during the week when I brought the car back for detail. Called the day prior to confirm. Arrive the morning of find everyone I was told to ask for was off that day and informed “We don’t have or have ever given loaners” - fortunately my trade in was still there so I got that for the morning. 3. Have not received my license plates yet. I was told it would take two weeks - it’s been a month. Whenever I call for an update they take my name and number down but then never return my call. CONCLUSION: Perhaps this is out of character from them. But I’d be careful signing the bottom line until everything you’ve been promised has been provided or you have it in writing. Overall: 65% happy with buying experience and 100% happy with the vehicle.

We just purchased our second vehicle from Gilchrist. It was an awesome experience both times. Highly recommend. The entire staff is honest, professional and courteous. Truly the most pain free car buying experiences we have ever had.

Went in mid-June for recalls and chafed wiring harness that caused an engine stall on freeway. While the recalls were fine and somewhat timely, their fix of the chafed wiring was not done properly according to bulletin. Went back last week to have the 1 hour repair done correctly, but was told there was no issue and aluminum tape was previously placed to stop chafing. Checked myself and found all bolts and pieces were accounted for and properly installed, which, at the service department, means the issue was never even looked at. I took my 2 year old vehicle to a performance shop to have harness repaired properly and to ensure issue would not reoccur within a few months. Well worth the time and expense to not return and be treated like a fool at Gilchrist. Pictures will show quality of inspection, repair, and aluminum tape at the service department.

Excellent, face mask required, social distance,
If it were me personally I think everybody that you go to is going to question that the car was stolen if you don't have a title or a key so what I would do is buy a new ignition out of auto parts store and install that that way you have a key to the car get the car insured and just use it for yourself
The vehicle should not have any alarms that go off unless a door is opened. Depending on if you are doing this yourself or using a transport company you have different options. A transport company usually wont allow you to disconnect the battery because it would have to be reconnected every time your vehicle may need to be moved. If you are towing the vehicle yourself on a trailer you could disconnect the battery which would disable all alarms. Do not disconnect the vehicle if you are flat towing or dinghy towing. If you have any further questions regarding this please feel free to contact our Service Department at 253-620-1900.
Please call our Parts department at 253-620-1900 and they can go over the options available.
Best to just call
Depends on the vehicle just call them
