I cannot recommend Trek Bicycle Bellingham enough ! I am Canadian and I had a warranty issue on my Trek Checkpoint gravel bike. The Trek store in my area was not very helpful and I was resigned to the fact that I will have to spend lots of money getting my bike fixed. On a whim I decided to call Trek Bicycle Bellingham to get a quote on the part that needed to be replaced. I talked to Chris the store manager on the phone and rather than brush me off or simply give me a quote, he really listened to my issue to understand the problem. He went above and beyond and contacted Trek and had the part covered under warranty even though my bike is past the warranty period. His communication and customer service throughout our interaction was above and way beyond my expectations. Chris saved me over $500 but more than that, he’s now got a customer for life. I will drive 2 hours across the Canada/US border to buy my next bike from Trek Bicycle Bellingham even though there’s a Trek store 15 mins away from me.

The gentleman made me feel welcome and helped me with my questions and concerns. They helped me pick out the right bike, set me up with a good helmet, and got me lights, fenders, a pump, and a bike tool. I'm a heavier rider and they never made me feel like I couldn't get a bike for myself. They went above and beyond and made my bike quickly so I could ride the same day. The bike itself is perfect for the riding I do. I look forward to working with them again to purchase my niece a bike, buy a mountain bike eventually as well as upgrade my ride to the full carbon version. I highly recommend them.

Wasn’t too pleased when trek bought out the local bike shop and fired all of the employees. I also had a weird experience, when I entered they said they were closed and that I had to leave but as soon as I said I needed a repair they said they could do it but it was quite over priced, when I tried to say no and leave, they kept trying to sell me the service a few times more, polite but annoying, Kona was much more enjoyable, lower priced and has helpful staff. I won’t be returning to Trek. Good bikes, bad experiences.

Justin was patient and firm with my young one. He engaged with him and helped him even when he wasn't focusing on what needed to get done. He was patient in that he knew what sized bike my son needed, but was more than willing to let him try out other smaller bikes, simply because he wanted to. I was very pleased with the service. My son loves his new pump track bike. Thank you.
