These guys are awesome! They were super quick to respond to my inquiry online, I brought in my e-bike which is very unconventional and it turns out it's not a type of bike they can typically service. Despite that, they all jumped in to helped me out immediately, fixed the problem and had me in and out in 15 minutes. They didn't even charge me a dime and did it completely out of good will. Friendly, trustworthy, and knowledgable staff, would 10 out of 10 recommend!

Super helpful staff and very covid conscious! Great hills to test drive the bikes 😀

Customer service was excellent. Had a question about my bike and left a message not expecting a timely response as I know Covid has really impacted bike shops. I received a call back from Stefan(sp?) at 7:30pm. He talked me though my question and was patient and informative. Bought a Tern GSD from them Dec 2018 and love it. Would highly recommend both the bike and the shop.

I can definitely make allowances for Covid but I wanted to check out an electric cargo bike with an eye towards purchase and I had a very unsatisfying experience. (1) they didn't answer the phone when i called ahead to ask what's available, (2) on arrival the person helping me was a bit halting on the info - several delays when she went back to look for info or parts they didn't have, (3) you can't test ride without signing up on the website and she couldn't sign me up there in person. I want to support local business but if I can't get the value-add of checking out the product first hand or getting info on it from direct knowledge I couldn't just get on a website why wouldn't I just order online?

Yes, you can ride a Class-1 ebike on the Interurban Trail. A Class-1 ebike does not have a throttle and has a top speed under pedal-assist of 20mph. For any cyclist, ebike or not, the speed limit on the trail is 15mph. A Class-3 ebike has a top-assisted speed (no throttle) of 28mph and these are not legal on the trails.
Hi Mary Anne, Thanks for your inquiry. We sell motor system components only for the systems on the bikes we sell, or brands we represent--Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, for example--and these are all proprietary (not compatible with other systems.) All these are using lithium-ion technology now. Sorry we can't help you. Come by and check us out any time, though. Kind regards, The SEB Team
