Room was clean, breakfast was good, price was reasonable. A larger fridge and microwave were included in the room and that was quite convenient. Empire mall is across the way as well as Walmart.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty of room to move around in the room. Hot breakfast and clean dinning room. The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous and helpful! I would stay here again if need be!!! Also pet friendly which we need anywhere we stay!

On April 7th I drove from Nashville to Sioux Falls and was very much looking forward to the bed. I didn’t arrive until nearly 3am in the 8th and when I arrived there was no one behind the desk. After a couple minutes I ring the little bell, still no one. Ring again, nothing. After about 10 minutes I start calling the hotel. No answer. I let it ring till it stops, then try again a couple more times. On the 3rd or 4th time I called a guy walks by the foyer from the hallway and said “is that you calling?” I said yes, trying to check in. He walked in down the hallway without saying a word. 5 minutes later he returned again and finally went behind the desk. He seemed to be taking an extraordinary amount of time getting me checked in, all along never saying a thing. I said man I’m exhausted, been driving all night, can I get my room? Which was already paid for. He then made me go back outside to get my license plate number saying it was required to stay there. And once I commented on how long this was taking he said, and I quote, “it’s not my fault you were driving all night”. Well it’s safe to say I’ll never stay here again. I can’t believe this dude has a job.

Never actually got to stay. Booked reservation day before. When we arrived the price for our 2 night reservation was $100 more than amount quoted the day before. Clerk at front desk was same person we spoke to day before and said yes that is not the price I quoted but the price must have increased and I can't fix it. Corporate was no help. We were on the phone for a long time and the out come was that pricing was the owner's decision and the owner couldn't be reached. The owner eventually did call back and offered discount of $25. When my husband pointed out that was still $75 more than the reservation quote the owner got angry and told us to get off his property. What?? We ended up having a great stay at the Baymont.

There's a Fry N' Pan diner in walking distance right next to the hotel. That's where we ate (they also do take outs). I think they are open 24 hours as well. Really good!
