This hotel has pet hair EVERYWHERE and smells terrible. All of the sheets, even new ones have pet hair. Both rooms I got on the third floor smelled so bad I couldn’t sleep. My son has allergies to cats and was itching as soon as we checked in. The lady working told us no cats were allowed, yet we spotted one In the window of someone’s room the next day. The smell from the vents is a mix of unclean cat and dog odors. I was also told the second room I was checked into was just deep cleaned but the sheets smelled bad and the shower was not clean. I booked this hotel mainly for a the cleanliness score I saw. The cleanliness reviews are not true in my opinion though. I’ve stayed at 6 different hotels in Sioux Falls over the Summer and this was by far the dirtiest, lowest end with the least amenities. It wasn’t just my two rooms that were not clean as another guest I met in the hallway going to buy Lysol wipes because she said her room didn’t appear clean and another gentleman on my floor was having a sneezing fit complaining about not being able to breathe in his hotel room. The morning manager said it’s pet friendly and the Hairs/smells are probably coming from the unclean vents, gross. Most hotels are pet friendly, pet friendly shouldn’t mean Stinky, dirty sheets and covered in hairs. I spent $1,000 to stay in this filth for a week. I’m awake writing this in the middle of the night bc the smell from the ac vents/sheets and itchiness this Place gives me. Don’t make the same mistake! ( see picture of cat in window from the “no cats in here” hotel that doesn’t care if people are allergic).

Stayed in the two bedroom suite bedroom air was broken maintenance man was out for the entirety of our stay front desk provided a fan that was hardly sufficient in 90+ weather I would expect to atleast have air conditioning for $160 a night

I’m upset. I’ve stayed in a lot of really nice 3/4 star hotels throughout the southern US. you know, 200 a night, high end bar inside, high quality room service, etc etc. The first thing I noticed was how pleasant the hotel smells. I felt like I walked into a bed bath, except it wasn’t overpowering. It was just pleasant. The woman at the front desk was incredibly nice. The bathtub was shockingly ergonomic. Most bathtubs really aren’t designed for you to go neck deep… or at least not for taller people (I’m 6’2, 6’4 on tinder.) The bathtub seemed to cradle me no matter how much I slid in. Presumably it’s more comfortable for shorter people. Anyway, it was almost on par with being in a nice hot tub. The bed was perfect firmness. The pillows are actually good. Most of the time I have to ditch hotel pillows and bring my own in. I’m a picky sleeper, so this may be personal preference. The sheets felt amazing. The sheets felt undeniably clean on my skin. This isn’t the “nicest hotel” I’ve stayed in. But it’s undeniably the best in terms of hitting all my buttons perfectly. I view it like this: Your mothers cooking vs a high end steakhouse. Alternatively, your significant other vs your celebrity crush.

Checked in Friday 5/13/2022 spoke with the front desk at 2230 hrs regarding no hot water in the room and the tub not draining properly. Saturday 5/14: Again 2300 hrs spoke with the guy in the front desk resisting same issues. Sunday 5/15 Some with Jerri. She started no one had passed on the messenger regarding the idea over the past few days. Ask she said it's " I will pass on the message. Completely unacceptable for a $180/night stay.
