Rooms are clean but showing some age and wear and tear. The staff was all friendly. They do a modified cleaning. We got clean towels and more soap but only one shampoo so glad we had brought some. They didn't change the sheets but would tidy up the bed. The continental breakfast was decent. Biscuits and gravy for my husband and bagel 🥯 and cream cheese for me. However they do run out so first come first served. One thing we found nice is that the fridge had a usable freezer. The staff was all friendly so thank you.

Quiet for a place by the Interstate. Thunder and lightning around 4am and rumbles weren't heard in our room. There were some minor cosmetic issues, but nice breakfast items available as part of room rate. Good selection of TV channels.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Microtel this week. After our original plans were cancelled we found Microtel and was able to secure a room on short notice during a eventful weekend. The staff were very pleasant to work with and accommodating. We were met with smiles at every meeting during our stay. And the breakfast each morning was a bonus! I usually look for that in an amenity but on short notice I didn't think about it. I was excited when the staff mentioned it.

Outside of the staff being polite and the room being located close to the places we were going, it was a very unpleasant stay. The bed was uncomfortable, they didn't have any bedding for the pull out couch and I specified that it would be used. The room was ABSOLUTELY filthy! There was hair all over my bed when I pulled the cover back. The bathroom was appalling, sink, toilet and shower. I also had to mop the floor with a towel because my Nike slides were sticking to it!! I cleaned the room for a good half an hour or more. The carpet wasn't vacuumed nor was the bathroom mopped. We'll pass on going back here ever again. The money that we spent, I would expect for them to have cleaned prior to us arriving as opposed to fixing the bed and taking the trash out.
