This campground is disgusting. The restrooms aren’t clean and the pools aren’t well taken care of….. there were dead frogs, huge hair balls, and the lights in the pools don’t work properly. Also the “Rules” are changing all the time and they make up “Rules” that make absolutely no sense. Most of the staff and the rangers are rude and nasty towards everyone, not going to name anyone but they know who they are. I’m 15 years old and I don’t normally write reviews but my family and I have been coming to this place for years but I’m annoyed at everyone who works here and at management. They nitpick at ever little thing. I myself has gotten in trouble for something that I didn’t do… DON’T COME HERE!!! Unless you want this to happen to your family and friends and you. I would honestly give this 0 stars if I could!

Paid $836.00 for 4 nights. It appeared clean, but it had roaches! Supposed to sleep six, 1 double bed and bunk beds in bedroom and a futon that opens to a double in the living room area. The person on the top bunk hit their head several times due to the low ceiling. Only 4 chairs at the kitchen table (good thing there were only 3 of us). Not nearly enough electrical outlets in the bedroom and living/kitchen area, had to use bathroom outlets to charge devices.

This campground is wonderful. We stayed here as part of our TT membership and loved it. We originally put down camp in the 50 Amp spots but changed the same day, with no problem, to the back loop where it was SO quiet and beautiful. Right on the river. Well kept campground, activities for all. Pool was shut down as it was late Nov but they have a separate adult only pool and an indoor large hottub that is well maintained. Nicest campground in VA by far

We went in the winter time so we didn't get to enjoy most of the camping amenities. That said, we did have a good experience there. Nice playground for the kids, great fire pits. Dogs allowed and MOST people are dog friendly. The store unfortunately was closed the entire time we were there. They refill propane tanks. All in all, a pretty good experience.
