Always friendly service. Everything looks pretty clean for fast food. Never had an incorrect or incomplete order. Food seems to always be kept at appropriate hold times and temps. This location is million times better than old one that they tore down and replaced with a McDonald's.

This used to be our place to go for fried chicken. The last couple of times we have gotten chicken it has been so over cooked that it makes it hard to eat. Decided to try again last night. Ordered our normal (dark meat original and white meat extra crispy). They didn't have extra crispy white meat, which wasn't to big of a deal breaker, so I just ordered all of it original. I checked the chicken when it was passed through the window and it was literally dark brown from being over cooked. I asked them for fresh chicken and they stated that was the freshest chicken. Just told them to refund my card, which they did. They shouldn't have given that over cooked chicken to any more of their guests. I wish they would put a Popeye's in Gloucester.

Still my favorite spot in Gloucester. They no longer have the buffet. Was disappointed ☹️ otherwise it was good experience. The staff are in the ball.

The lads and I used to hit this after 18 holes at a local course. First off, the food is what is to be expected of an establishment run by Colonel Sanders-great. However, due to recent covid complications, their dining room had to be closed for a short time, as many other establishments did. This put a temporary damper on times with the boys as we were no longer able to partake in fine chicken churned out by the cooks and loaded onto the buffet line. Gloucester KFC was just not the same. As time has passed, many other restaurants have opened their dining rooms. However, I regret to inform the reader that this location is yet to do so. For this simple reason, they have still earned a very impressive 4 stars. As the days pass and over 2 years has gone by, I yearn for the glory days of the Gloucester Kentucky Fried Chicken more than ever. EDIT: I'm writing this as of March 8, 2022. I have heard an abundance of rumors circulating regarding the possibility of the KFC dining room reopening! I was very excited when I heard of this possibility as I would love to soon return to the buffet! Can anyone living in Gloucester confirm this? Over 6 months have passed since my original review, and again, revisiting the buffet line would be incredible! As soon as I hear word on this, I would be more than happy to give this establishment a solid 5 stars. Thanks in advance!
