$12 for a 2 Oz tuna sandwich that was nothing special and not cooked correctly. It was a bread sandwich basically. Waitress was nice.

The food, service, atmosphere, and cleanliness we're all amazing! My wife and I absolutely loved the seafood. You can tell that it is fresh, the crab was sweet and perfectly cooked. I had a steak as well and that was cooked to perfection. The place stays busy, but you can tell why... They are worth it. Make sure that you check them out any time you're in town.

I saw Olivia's when we drove down main street. There were quite a few people dining. On the way back, we decided to eat here. Our waitress was amazing. So friendly and told us everything was made from scratch. I wish I had asked her name. I had a chicken breast alfredo with ham, cheese, with an amazing cream sauce and pasta. My friend had a stuffed salmon with a delicious rice pilaf. We also tried the clam chowder. A delicious flavor with plenty of seafood in it. Also, we were served rolls with parmesan. They were warm and delicious. The dessert was incredible. The owner, Gary Ward, checked on our meal and the service. He was such a delightful man to talk to. He told us about the history of the restaurant, answered our questions about the area and gracious. If we go back to Gloucester, VA, we will head to Olivia's.

Second time visiting, and this place continues to exceed expectations for hospitality and deliciousness. Seafood chowder was recommended by the hostess as one of theie signature dishes, and after having it I can see why. Not just clams here: we had shrimps and all kinds of goodness. The prime rib was amazing. Owner came by and chatted us up. Said that, despite the really long cook times, they start with a higher grade of meat, so if it tasted a cut above, as it was, that was the reason. Not pictured is the brownstone cab I paired with my meal. When I asked if they had a drinks menu, our server said "beer and wine" so I asked "for a cab" and that's what I got. Loved the informality of that exchange! Hospitality in this place is something special. If you find yourself in town, stop by!

Good question. We use a small amount of Panko Bread Crumbs to help hold the crab cakes together. So, if you are intolerant or on a strict gluten free diet, they will not be an option.
