I have only been to GNC one time, to bring some bathroom items and some new socks. BUT it was an excellent experience and talking to Leia about future donations was really helpful. Now I am in contact with the volunteer coordinator and all good! 😃. Thx, GNC

Definitely a horrible place with horrible staff! They seem friendly but are negative and not helpful with the process they are supposed to be going through! They help who they feel like helping and definitely make it harder situation instead of a easy one! I would recommend thinking twice about this shelter!

This is a wonderful place to donate to. We try to bring things here when ever we do our seasonal clean out and during the holidays. They take such great care of the families that come through here. Truly a wonderful place
one fan
Stayed here for a while We had no luck with finding an apartment and this place ruined the chance we had to get one. Found a nice place in beaverton but they require an inspection right before you move in. Well they waited a month before doing anything and we lost the apartment because of that. They really don't care about you. It's a facade and more often than not you just move from this place to another because they don't help you. We left this place homeless once more. Also, they don't give a damn if you have work; if you don't finish those chores you're booted.

Hi Larry. Thanks for asking. Yes we do. We accept fresh food that is not expired every day of the year.
Hi Jennifer. Thank you for asking. We accept full size hygiene items and makeup products that are unused and unopened.
They do. Between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
No this is a family shelter. Every person must have a child with them
We have pillows. Mostly we want new stuff unopened.
Hi Quincy. We are still accepting donations. We are just not able to accept clothing donations. We still rely on donations to operate but clothing and a number of household items are less needed, takes up a lot of room and requires a lot of work to prepare to hand out each week. We're changing some of our policies to better meet the needs of our families. You can find our current needs list on our website: goodneighborcenter.org/current-needs-list Thank you for your question and support!
I vaguely remember seeing a sign by their front door that due to covid, they aren't accepting anything right now but if you call, that would be best.
I don't think so
No. It's a live-in shelter for families, but space is extremely limited
Yes any cloaths help
I would call and ask
They do not. But if you message me, I know of a family in need that would take them.
I believe there may be a waiting list...but I'm not sure. This is a 6 week program designed to transition and assist in finding housing and employment. Even if it's not what you are looking for, they may be a good resource for other programs
They do not take toys. But they do clothes
She needs to call Community Action and get put on the list.... Good Neighbor Center is one of 3 shelters ! My son and I were Homeless ... I am SO GREAT FULL for the resources & Help from Good Neighbor Center !!
Brand new,in package. Helps cut down on bugs and communicable diseases if they do not accept used bedding. Some agencies have taken used items,if they have the facilities to do heat treatments. Always best to call ahead.
