Old school here(me). Customer service goes a long way. Not one employee acknowledged me & asked if they could help me. Found last item of what I was looking for but think it was a little pricey.

Id rate 0 stars if i could. Terrible customer service and they’ve repeated closed before theyre Supposed to and we’re talking hours before hand not just a few minutes. Any store should be fined for closing before their posted hours and they should be required to stay open till the hours posted on google. Covid hours doesnt mean anything and if they havent changed their hours onlune with google then they dont get to close till those hours.

I skate boarded with friends when I was a kid. Never really got into it, but had some good memories. Out of no where Facebook bombarded me with Ads for skate boards. I was thinking you know my daughter I bet would love a skate board. Not wanting to pay shipping and handling we headed off to Zumiez. My foggy memory would not give me all the details I needed to get a board put together. The store had a wonder deck tech named Emily who walked my daughter through the steps of picking out everything from the deck to the wheels. Showing her a bunch of options and explaining the difference. Than after it was all picked out she put it together for us as my daughter watched. Again Emily explained each step of putting it together. It was some of the best customer service I received in a long time. Super happy with the purchase. The selection there is great.

Yes. You can build your own custom board.
They do not have Rip Sticks at Zumiez. They only sell skateboards, long and cruiser boards and snowboards there. Rip Sticks are available at Wal mart though. I have also seen them at Target and Fred Meyers as well.
