Thank you Indira and Amanda!!! Our family experienced an unexpected and monumental loss. Naturally we're experiencing grief and a sense of urgency all at the same time. How do you plan a service and honor your loved one during a time when social distancing and family gatherings are impossible. We knew we needed some guidance through this planning process, and called Young's Funeral home. I called with an abundance of rattled questions, and Indira was so patient and compassionate with us. My husband and I met with her days later, and greeted at the door nonetheless. Indira spent the time we needed to grasp next steps and put together a beautiful service to honor our loved one. Even better, she was responsive throughout the process and went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and one that we could be at peace with. They also readily made it possible to include our loves ones to join the funeral service on Facebook Live. It made it possible for our relatives around the world to feel present. On top of that... Amanda who was our Director the day of the service, extended such a kind gesture by dressing our mother in her traditional Indian Saree. All I could do was provide the clothing, the jewelry, and a link to a YouTube tutorial of how to wrap her Saree. She did an impeccable job!! She was kind and patient with our many requests, she personally recorded the entire service and was readily prepared for all the things you don't think of. Thank you ladies, you truly touched our family and we thank you and Young's Funeral home for your professionalism, your guidance, and your generous support.
