Beautiful place in the spring to see outstretched fields of blooming tulips as well as garden areas planted in various arrangements. It's a photographer's delight, but prepare for the massive crowds. We went on Easter Day, and we had to park a half mile away and walk in, despite our tickets including free parking. There were massive crowds. Little ones around the crowds were losing strength as parents were trying to get the perfect Easter photos. It will definitely wear your legs out walking from parking zone to the far reaches of the fields, but the photos are beautiful!

Awesome place to visit Tulips every year, almost 75% of flowers are bloomed. We went on Friday evening to view the flowers in the sunset and it didn't disappoint. What a colorful display it was with flowers in almost all colors. Crowd was less compared to day time, lot of parking spaces and restrooms maintained as usual. It was very cold in the evening, particularly after sunset, so wear proper clothing. Seems less area covered this year may be due to Covid effect but still worth visiting the place.

Lots of fun, great flowers, good set up. Highly recommend getting there early. We arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday and had no issues and didn’t feel like it was over crowded. A little bit of a hike to the main flower rows, could be difficult for those with mobility limitations or children. Lots of great photo opportunities. Was a sunny day and still could’ve benefited from rain or hiking boots. Uneven and muddy ground but beautiful display this year. They had some good looking food and drink options but we weren’t hungry. Port-a-potty’s we’re clean and well maintained. The flowers to go we bought at the tent are some of the most beautiful we’ve had in a while. They give great instructions on how to get them to bloom and last a while. Great experience, worth the $15/person fee in our opinion.

This was my first time visiting Daffodil and Tulip field and it was beautiful and amazing!! I got here Saturday 9:30am. It says it opens 10am, but flower fields were opened earlier. Entrance fee is $15 per person and it’s definitely worth it if they have blooming flower field. I highly recommend to get there early to avoid crowd and also wear rain boots or comfortable shoes with mud. When I was there, Daffodil and early blooming tulips are fully bloomed.

Don't think so, we're military and the question wasn't asked.
You can purchase tickets at the counter, no problem.
The entire Skagit Valley is awesome, explore and enjoy.
We went on Sunday. Got our tickets at the ticket hut. $15 per person.
We visited there a week ago. There was no fresh flowers. We asked for the reason and owner said snow affected the growth of the flower this season and they will bloom little late than usual. She suggested visiting after April 1st.
Our fields of blooms have been "topped" for the season meaning the garden is now featuring the last tulips left in bloom for 2021. Lots of mid season tulips are still flowering in addition to all of the late blooming types and the garden is still full of color. We will remain open for admission for as long as the garden is putting on a colorful display and will then begin transitioning to our summer display!
April 30th 2021 will be the last day. Check at https://tulipfestival.org.
I have not been here so I don't know all the rules. Call for information!!
I would recommend calling them to ask. I didn't notice a bike area.
Can we cancel the reservation ahead of time?
Probably best to call Roozengarde, it's only customers who see these questions. :-)
Nope
https://www.tulips.com/category/spring-blooming-flower-bulbs you can get online catalog by go to their website
https://www.tulips.com/bloommap As of May 10, 2019 Our tulips fields are all finished for the season with only a few flowers remaining in bloom at RoozenGaarde as we near the very end of our spring bloom. RoozenGaarde is open year round and will be charging a discounted $5 admission through Mother's Day weekend. Please check out our Facebook page for current images of our display.
The bulbs need to be dug up and divided about every three years, or when they stop flowering well. Dig them up in early summer or in fall before frost. Break apart the newbulbs, discard the old, and replant the remaining bulbs at the proper spacing.

I'm not real sure. I thought they had specific hours posted on their website. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
I was just there yesterday and the majority of their flowers were in bloom. As many have mentioned, waiting about a week should yield full bloom.
Fpr sure leave them
The gift shop is open 12 months out of the year. We are charging admission through this weekend. No admission charge after that.
Do you think you have to drain it?
Yes, $7.00 and free parking. Same at Tulip Town. Both are beautiful.
For 2018, Washington Bulb Company has 2219 acres combined (owned and leased). About half of that acreage is used for bulbs while the other half is used for grain (wheat, barley, rye). We have 15+ acres of greenhouses where we grow tulips and lilies year round. The garden is currently 5 acres and in 2017 we purchased some neighboring property for future expansion. We rotate the fields behind the garden to be sure we have tulips each year for our guests. That acreage changes annually. Thanks for visiting!
