For 2018, Washington Bulb Company has 2219 acres combined (owned and leased). About half of that acreage is used for bulbs while the other half is used for grain (wheat, barley, rye). We have 15+ acres of greenhouses where we grow tulips and lilies year round. The garden is currently 5 acres and in 2017 we purchased some neighboring property for future expansion. We rotate the fields behind the garden to be sure we have tulips each year for our guests. That acreage changes annually. Thanks for visiting!
I have they have 1000 acres of land. But display garden is 5 acres and tulip and daffodils are 25 and 22 respectively. I asked them on my tour
You may have to visit a week later so that more area has blossomed with tulip and daffodils. On my visit last Sunday, not much of acres were fully blossomed. So a little disappointed
I was told similar numbers when I went a week ago.
