Worst camping experience I have had to date. Had site L09. Back in "sunset" site. Was told we would experience fabulous sunsets on clear nights. Back in site. Right next to us was a pull through site! Only about 10 feet apart. Couldn't put our awning out because it would right over their head. Extremely uncomfortable. Why any campground would do that is beyond me. Not to mention the bugs were absolutely terrible no matter what we burned, sprayed or plugged in. Squeeze one more site in! Now this site was considered "premium". Pretty sure it was the most expensive they had. I have never paid this much for a site, ever. The sunset was nowhere near us. Tree right in front of us and the sunset wasn't even close, even if the tree wasn't there. Incredibly disappointed already. Now, one of the main reasons we go to the thousand Island region is to fish. Some of the best anywhere in the state and possibly the country. We rented a 19 foot boat for $400 a day!!! Incredibly steep but the marina was right there and it was a decent boat. I was told to be there at 9:30 AM to get the boat and all the instructions. Showed up and come to find out that I was only able to access our rented boat from 9:30 to 5:30 PM! To top that off it was $50 penalty for every 15 minutes you were late. This absolutely blew my mind. From what I knew, when you rent something, it is yours from the time you pick it up until the time it's due back. Car, house, tool, whatever Never saw exception to that in my life. I've been renting boats up there for for 35 Years. For those of you the fish, you are well aware that the best fishing is morning and evening. Ladies in the office were pleasant but kept insisting I need to call "corporate". No, I need to see a manger and he can call corporate or whatever. Manager was responsive and came to our site. Explained the issues and told him we just wanted out of there. He obliged but seemed annoyed he even had to deal with our situation. There is absolutely no possibility we are the first people to have an issue with the site. Why they wouldn't make any adjustments is way way beyond me. Terrible management at some point within the organization. Hopefully we can save someone else the pain and the $300 in gas we wasted. Never again.

Stayed here for the first time this week. Can’t say enough about the workers there. Super friendly and always waving or saying hi. (Special shout out to Bob and Leann) have great recommendations of activities while staying. Grounds were always clean and nice. Great events, they had wine tasting and half price ice cream while we were there. We stayed at the hotel rooms during our stay because we traveled with friends that have an Rv. Room was very nice! Nice to have a bigger fridge than a college size. Only complaint that I had was the TV didn’t get good reception. (We honestly didn’t need to watch anything but it is nice to turn it on before bed.) Also the curtain on the door wasn’t long enough to cover all the window for privacy. Definitely will make many more trips here!

Lovely RV park, great staff and amazing views.. We stayed 5 days 4 nights on a lake view spot.. I recommend the sunrise side (less windy) and walk over to the sunset side at night. Definitely going back again!

Bob, the gentleman who greeted us as we pulled into the campground, showed us to our site was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, gave suggestions about places to sight see and even stopped by to see how we were when we were leaving. The staff at the front office we super friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to when we book again. The sunsets were incredible. The sites are well looked after. Really enjoyed our time.

The Lodge you are referring to is not available for rentals yet, we do not have a date on the opening. We do have cabins/cottages currently available.
We allow 2 dogs per site. There is a $20 per day per dog charge over qty. 2. There is a small fenced in dog park when you first come into the campground
No. The park closes in October for the winter season. It reopens in spring.
