The main attraction here is a nice sandy beach. Plenty of picnic tables and charcoal grills are provided. Playground for kids, pavilions that can be reserved for parties, also has a boat marina and a campground. I can't comment on the campground since there's another campground nearby that I prefer. Empire Pass is recommended since parking is $8/day otherwise.

We recently camped at Westcott and it was a great experience. Nice people at check and our site was easy to get to and back onto. Camping part of the park is well maintained. They have increased the size of the campers beach by removing some beach front sites so now many more can enjoy a beach day without having to walk to the day use beach. We also checked out the plateau loop and the new cabins that overlook the lake below. They look wonderful.

I have never been to a beach that had the most ridiculous rules in my entire life. People couldn't throw footballs in the water, everyone has to crowd to one section to swim even though the beach stretches far and a lot of people were there. What a joke. And it cost $8 to get in. The lifeguards were ridiculous. I am a grown adult, the water is shallow pretty far, I can judge what I can handle for my toddler and I. Seriously so annoyed. I hope all the beaches aren't this ridiculous as I just moved here.

One of my favorite parks. Grew up spending summers here and still am coming back as an adult. The beach is part of Henderson Harbor and you get a great view of Association Island and of boats coming and going. Lovely and relaxing.

Absolutely. The beach faces west with no obstruction so it's a great place for that!
Note...only a very small portion of the beach is open. The rest is closed due to strong currents and high water.
Yes open for swimming! There is a max cap but only seen it reached on weekends. Masks preferred in restrooms.
Yes
We didn't see any "No Swimming" signs last weekend and the beach was packed with people swimming. Saw the Park Police drive past once.
Yes
