Part of the trail was too swamped to continue too far, but it was nice to explore. We found an owl pellet and played in the trees.

Really nice place to visit. They have a boat launch that is very easy along with a parking lot. There is a placard detailing a battle from the war of 1812 that happened near by. There is a nicely maintained walking path that meanders along the river but has plenty of shade for walking.

As an employee of the DEC...if your using the trail systems...please pick up your mess. Im sick of people leaving trash everywhere.
