I would like to congratulate the staff the works here. Also the crew that keep the parking lot and grounds very clean. Even the inside of the store is kept up. Great clearance deals for outdoor furnishings such as candle holders, water fountains etc. Prices on fresh produce are wonderful. But after that.. Here comes the sad part. Its not the great store it use to be. And it's not Freddys fault really. I came in for some gloves, and to see what's on clearance as I saw some water fountains that were on sale. And they do have a good amount of selection. But they close the outdoor area at -8PM. Even in the summertime when it gets dark around 9PM. But what got me is the amount of stuff they have to lock up. It almost feels like shopping in California Walmarts. Even the ones in Texas were not this bad. But everything is locked up. What made me double take is that they use Cables strong enough to pull a barge or hold up a bridge for their clothing upstairs. About their clothing section. I really was disappointed about their selection and price of clothing there. I'd rather shop at Nordstroms to be honest. The prices are better as well. But this is the first time I have ever seen Jeans and T shirts cable locked with stuff that would make a a Semi truck jelly for how big those things are. LOL. I guess those pants and really valuable or something. I really miss having starbucks on the upper floor. The O.G. Layout was nice. Upscale and wonderful to shop at way back when they first opened it. Its slowly turning into a pit. The Lighting is dreary. But I don't think people notice. And all the things colors that Made Fred myers a portland oregon store is kind of gone. They use to have plants everywhere in the summertime. And it was really invitiging. They even had a play area for kids back then. Now? I really could not wait to get out of the store. I am supprised by how bad some of the people smelled in there. I mean like I hae never smelled a women smell like that before. And I was in the Navy in boot camp. I mean I don't get why people think its okay to go to the store like that. in all honesty instead of Portland just putting up outhouses for the recreational homeless activities I would also put the showers as well. I also miss their super friendly nature of Fred Meyers in the people that used to work there before because that's kind of missing as well. It kind of feels like Sweden if you are completely honest.

The deli will just watch you wait foe 10 minutes and nobody will help. They nned to prioritize customers first like new seasons does. Major fail.

I really do like Fred Meyers on the East Coast it Kogers. Maybe it the economy but this store is expensive I used the small shopping cart had a bag in the shopping cart put my items that I bought from the store in the same shopping cart and it cost me $160 plus dollars not even two bags almost $200 I think that's really expensive.

I'd call and ask
Yes they do. The florist or someone in that department can assist you
Yes you can
Yes! I just reported them today as well!
Yes
Frozen peas work very well
No, there's Halsey and Gateway, or in Gresham on Burnside.
No pumps at this location, but Fred Meyer does have a gas station on Hslsey around 90th
You will need to call the store to find out. They don't monitor this page.
Fred Meyer does carry Dutchboy paint in their Home and Garden department. That area has some very good customer service associates. It's always better to call ahead, and then visit the store to help assure you'll get the answers you need for your particular project. Good luck
They are located right next to the lottery machine in the main grocery entrance
