Great employees. They have a serious problem with theft from the nearby camps. People say the place is unsafe, but I think there are just a lot of folk stealing food. Can't blame them for the state of the city, and I think the employees are doing an incredible job considering.

This used to be one of the favorite FMs I would go to, but it no longer feels safe. For the past month every time I visited there was at least one 'shady vibes' individual with a mask and a hoodie on, stealing what clearly was the most expensive items in the store. Sometimes there are two. At all times, crime is happening in this Fred Meyers. I know employees can do nothing, but I don't know how anyone can go shopping in a place like that and feel safe. Please... take necessary security measures.

Fred Meyer, I was a loyal customer of yours since 2008 but lately, wow what has happened?? You allow people who steal and cater to them. I have seen twice, people just blatantly stealing and you said that the right people were not there to do anything about it. How about not allowing backpacks in? Your treatment of your employees is horrible and they are not happy. Lines are horrendous. You can change your ways, I believe in you!!

Lots to see, all the necessity items. Choices easy when displayed so nicely. Kind clerks. Convenient location. Agreed to bad parking. Bogus on the reviewer who claims this is bad part of town. It's most popular place to buy home right now. As for "lowlifes" mentioned by that reviewer: I don't agree. Obviously, he hasn't been in Portland long as this is up and coming area, less than one mile from University of Portland.

You can install the Fred Meyer app on your phone if you haven't already, and you can find it in the Google Play Store. You can just order from there, or call your local store, just Google the store you are trying to find, and it will give you the information and phone numbers. They can also walk you through what you need to do to order groceries from that particular store. The groceries will come from the store nearest you. Good luck!
Actually, they do do delivery. They use Instacart. You have to go online and place your order like a normal pickup order. Then, just select home delivery.
