I will start off by saying I wish I could give it more stars. This place was the best place I have ever stayed at. The whole experience was amazing. I will try not to make this review too long so that you can read others, but there is so much to say. First off I will say that the view and the lake were amazing. We got a room on the first floor, which only had a partial view but it was so great, I can't imagine what the top floor view could be. The room was very spacious and had a nice blackout curtain to separate the living room area from the beds. This was helpful for in the morning if others were still sleeping people could still go into the living space and enjoy the view in the morning. Our room had two sinks which I have never seen in a room before. This was surprisingly very helpful for our family of 4. When someone was using the bathroom others could still use the mirror and the sink outside of the bathroom. We also enjoyed the Cottage restaurant which had nice outdoor seating to see the lake. It was convenient to walk to, as well as the town where we had a day of shopping and looking at the Olympic center, definitely recommend checking out if you are looking for activities to go do. Sadly one of the days we did go it was very rainy which made it hard to have a lot of time to enjoy the lake. Luckily the indoor and outdoor pools are amazing both being heated and very large. The indoor one was certainly our favorite being kept very clean and having a waterfall and bridge in it. The hot tub was very nice as well with lots of room and music and lights. All of the staff were very helpful during our stay and made us feel very welcome. Some activities that are nice on the grounds without even having to get in the car could include. The giant chess board, cornhole, ping pong, tennis, kayaking, or paddleboarding (both available to take out at the boat house for free). The beach is nice but the bottom drops off very quickly from about 3ft to 12ft. I guess I didn't do a very good job keeping this short but I hope it will help you make your decision about staying here easier. :)

Nice spa. Staff was pleasant. The sales pitch of upcharges at the beginning of the massage was annoying at such an upscale spa. How about offer that at sign in and get right to the massage if your counting minutes of a massage to sell me more things and chat during the expensive massage. Massage was excellent after it got underway, very thorough, lots of honed technique used by masseuse. Lounge was comfortable but lacked snacks, only apples offered. Put some snacks out that have substance. Spa amenities were enjoyable, steam room, hot tub, and showers. It would be nice to have used the hotel pool to meet up with my husband but we found it was not allowed. Overall good experience and I'll go back with girlfriend's for a girls day but probably not with my husband for a couples day since we couldn't enjoy spaces together.

We’ve done several upstate New York trips, and this was our favorite hotel that we’ve stayed in. Views of the lake are so serene and beautiful, and the hotel truly cares to make your stay as seamless as possible. Our room was so nice and clean, and the location was perfectly central. Highly recommend. We hope to be back!

Stay At An Authentic Luxury Adirondack Inn! This hotel is situated in the beautiful town of Lake Placid and offers fantastic views of Mirror Lake and the local mountains. The staff at the Inn were very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms were cozy, with a beautiful sitting area that overlooked the lake…the perfect place to sip your morning coffee. Great amenities offered at this property ranging from EV chargers, a ski room, spa & sauna facility and many more. Would highly recommend this hotel to couples or families looking to go on an Adirondack adventure.

They allow dogs under 70lbs in certain rooms on property and there is a $50 per day pet fee. You have to book with them over the phone instead of online to reserve a pet-friendly room.
