Had a week long stay, while down for my daughter's graduation. Right from checking in, super late, our experience was great! Gentleman on the front desk had us laughing all the way to our room, missed his name, but he was awesome. Hotel was bright and clean. Pool and hot tub very relaxing. Hotel restaurants had great service and food. Our room was perfect, plenty of closet and dresser space. High pressure shower!! And if thats not enough, terrific restaurants and tremendous shopping nearby. We will be staying here again, on our next visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Positive: Location and restaurant. Negative: Room needs upgrade... water damaged ceiling, iffy AC and just general aging of once fine property. Now MEDIOCRE.

Website said fridge in every room. There was one but not plugged in. Also promised robes but we're none in our room. Beautiful place to stay other than that.

Have written very positive reviews of this hotel in the past but seems to have really gone downhill. Besides the main lobby does not appear to be well maintained. Last few stays (over several months) only one elevator was operational. Do not clean rooms during stay. Gym equipment did not look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Rooms are looking dingy perhaps due to lack of daily cleaning and walls and furniture starting to look dated. Hardly any cold water for some reason. Very limited room service. 7th Floor lounge remains closed and used to be what differentiated this from other hotels. Had a great staff there and nice drinks and snacks. Now can't even get a complimentary cup of coffee or tea and have to ask for water. Forgot to request a late checkout and was told by cleaning I had to leave immediately which I guess was my fault but could have been handled better. Was my go-to hotel in Rochester but going to try another hotel next visit.
