We stayed for a weekend. The restaurant downstairs is recently and permanently closed. Staff was sparse but generally helpful. The room was clean enough and technically wheelchair accessible (as was the lobby), tho the elevators were quite tight. The room we stayed in had no grab bars of any kind in the bathroom. Unfortunately even from the 7th floor with windows facing a fairly quiet street, we heard every laugh, scream, siren, car door, etc all night long which wasn't exactly restful. Nothing terrible, nothing special.

I had to switch rooms since the TV wasn't working but it was not that big of a deal. I would have enjoyed a pool but it's understandable since this hotel was located in the heart of downtown. It was so nice being a short walk away from the harbor, tons of restaurants and shops and a Wawa so I could treat myself to a delicious smoothie at 2 AM.

Rooms are clean and well decorated. The hardwood floor makes it feel cleaner (rather than old carpet in some hotels). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room which is handy when staying a few days. The service is not very good compared to our other hotel stays, our toilet was broken and took 4x attempts to get engineering up to sort it out causing a 2 hour delay to our day. When they finally came up they acted like it was our fault the toilet was broken (even though it was the first time we used it, therefore it would have been a problem from prior check-in). Depending on who you get at the front desk, it was sometimes worth just googling something rather than asking, as I sometimes felt I was disturbing them from the responses I got over the phone, or in person.

The hotel in itself was nice. The room was pretty clean, there were enough towels and the bedding was fine. The drawbacks were that there was no coffee bar in the morning. The valet service was subpar and he took my money and did not explain that it should have come off of my room deposit. And lastly after 4 days I am STILL waiting for my deposit to be returned! I have never had to wait this long for a refund, and when I called the hotel, they said 2-10 business days! It only took minutes for it to come out, but I don't understand the delays in the return.
