Room was great. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. 4 stars because of the pool. AVOID. Our swimsuits & life jackets smelled like something I've never smelled before. At first I thought the bathroom (where I hung them to dry) smelled off until we went to our next hotel, pulled them out and they smelled the same / stunk up that place and our home 3 days later with the same smell. There were also chunks of hair floating around too. This isn't my first rodeo with pools. I wouldn't complain unless there was a legit issue. Would I go again, yes!! Swim, no! Especially with small children.

This was a great place to stay. Looks like it was fairly recently built like within the past three or four or five years. The rooms are moderately priced and the place is easy access. Unfortunately it was at a busy intersection and next to a hospital so the ambulances were running quite often there. However that really wasn't a big deal. There's a really nice pizzeria in the building and they make a really mean calzone. The staff was very friendly and courteous and very helpful especially when asked about things to do around town. They have an exercise room and across the hall is a heated swimming pool. And just outside the swimming pool area is a fire pit. However, you would think that with a place like this there would be a hot tub. Nope nope nope. That was the biggest disappointment for us but oh well, it is what it is, as the old saying goes. If we ever come back up this way again we will most definitely be looking this place up again.

The rooms and hotel in general was very comfortable and clean. We stayed on a Sunday and the pizza place attached to the hotel was closed on Sunday and Monday which was kind of a bummer because I was anticipating dining in without driving anywhere. Also the lady checking me in was not pleasant and she made me feel like I was bothering her because my keys to the room didn't work. The one other staff member I dealt later with was nice though.

We had no real problems. The rooms were pretty clean. The beds weren't very comfortable, but they weren't the worst. The water pressure in the shower was really lousy, but it wasn't a super big deal. My girls really loved the pool and the breakfast buffet was very good! Vanilla or chocolate waffles with all the toppings, fresh fruit, sausages and little omelets, oatmeal, breads and pastries... we enjoyed our stay.
