Location was great, bed was comfy. But the room itself was super dusty and falling apart, it just didn't look very appealing and was kinda annoying having to try and fix the things that were falling apart.

Less than 1 star. My sister in law, just stayed there this past weekend May 27-30. She was full of bites after the first night, but didn't connect the dots til after the second night, she asked to change rooms but even after the change continued to get bitten. Doctor has confirmed it was bed bugs. And they will not refund her because she went ahead and stayed the next night.

The room wasn't clean; dead bugs, bits of dust and debris along the walls and in the corners, and the manager had to send someone to reclean the bathroom, however, she didn't sweep the hair all over the floor because she didn't bring a broom with her. The lobby smelled like cigarettes (it's a smoke-free hotel), the room didn't smell fresh or clean either. The walls were paper thin and I could hear my neighbors, I thought the guy and his wife were in the room when I first walked in. I did have buy bleach and disinfectant wipes and sprayed the shower, all the surfaces and cleaned the bathroom myself. It was frustrating after having travelled all day. The bed was clean, the microwave was clean. I wasn't aware that I had to request breakfast and that it was 1st-come-1st-served, so I didn't have to find a bite to eat somewhere else. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was a plus. The manager did his best to accommodate me and was very apologetic however I didn't feel comfortable staying there and had to leave early. If you're in a pinch and need somewhere that has a bed and is cheap, go for it. The hotel needs to be updated; I’d reconsider returning if major updates are made and the rooms are thoroughly cleaned. There is a Mexican restaurant next door and it's 15-30 minutes from St. Charles and the St. Louis airport; so, it is in a great location.

I made a reservation online through a third party site for a deluxe room with spa tub (which is the only reason we wanted it). When we arrive, were given room 216, which wasn't a deluxe room. The guy at the desk is nice, but wasn't sure what he could do. Their system showered a standard room, but we showed him our reservation that said deluxe room with spa tub. He gave us room 110, but later when we came back, he said we couldn't stay in a deluxe room. I was frustrated and wasn't happy about it and was loud that they wouldn't honor what we reserved, but honestly I wouldn't want to stay anyway. The hotel is dirty... The stairs were filthy, the spa tub had stuff in the bottom of it. I brought cleaning supplies and my own linens when I returned before I was told we couldn't get the room we reserved. I even spoke with the general manager on the phone, and he kept interrupting me. I let him know I was going to review the hotel with the things I noticed and my experience, and he viewed that as a threat. I didn't threaten anything other than a review of exactly what happened. Their excuse is that they can't change a reservation in their computer and it was set for a standard room, even though I was given a key to room 110, a deluxe room. The general manager was rude and interrupted a lot, but the desk attendant at the hotel was nice and tried to be helpful.

This one does not accept pets. I stayed there 2 months while my work had me on location there and tried to get my family with the dog out with me. I was told no pets. Clean hotel and good for the price though.
