The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch

Beautiful and just recently remodeled hotel located in a scenic background of Avon Colorado. Also known as Bachelors Gulch. The staff was extremely attentative and if it were possible I would give them six stars. Our room was kept very clean and stocked and the overall atmosphere of the Ritz was very relaxing. We also dined at both the Wyld and Sakata. I can not really rate one over the other as the food and service were both excellent, so it would come down to your own personal preference as to which cuisines you prefer. The only one slip up was when we put out a breakfast order on the door handle the night before and it was never picked up. This is how I found out it takes thirty minutes to receive a breakfast order. The following mornings I did not bother to put out my breakfast request and just ordered after my morning workout at the gym. Speaking of the gym, its a bit tight but there was plenty of great equipment with dumbbells up to 90 pounds.

Great experience overall! We arrived early for skiing and our room was ready for check-in by 10 am. We were so happy to settle in before heading out for skiing. The ski in/out was so convenient and made our lives a lot easier especially after long hours of skiing. Outdoor jacuzzi was so relaxing. The room was clean amd nice. The only downside was that only one restaurant was opened for dinner and the great room was crowded so we ended up dining in room.

Over the years we have loved staying here. Always a joy to be in this beautiful resort with friendly staff and delicious meals. The views from every area are breathtaking. In Fall, it is especially gorgeous with the colors of gold. This is the friendliest resort with the kindest and most helpful staff. It does not get better than this! The rooms are well decorated and elegant bathrooms. The beds are excellent. This place is mountain living at it's best!

Absolutely wonderful! Bruce was so very kind and professional when checking in late at night. Able to get check into my room quickly. The service provided here was exceptional. The rooms are very large and accommodating to pretty much anyone whether working remotely or just enjoying personal time. I stayed for one night and I was very sad to have to leave so early. I will be visiting again very soon. Breathtaking views and hiking trails too!
