I am a member of Wyndham. Poor attitude, customer service and mannerisms over phone. Called to cancel and allow them to have the room for others, while we stayed at another Wyndham owned property not too far off (still giving Wyndham the revenue). We booked that and had a good stay at a LaQuinta in Davenport. The phone was hung up on hold while “waiting for a manager” The Wyndham app allows one to cancel without being charged. They attempted to charge us after we cancelled on the app, regardless of Wyndham’s app and policy, and my membership status. Smartly, we put a stop on our credit card. We update cards at lower tier hotels when we arrive or prior to arrival. The fact they tried to run our card after approved cancellation should say enough. Avoid this Super 8 at all costs. Was fortunate enough to not stay there, and also fortunate to not be charged after approved cancellation via app, and also our phone call. That for any reader should say enough. One of the worst customer service experiences a person could experience. May contact executives or regional managers.

It was really good for the late check in. Room was decent but clean. Staff was nice. Had waffles and cereal for breakfast.

Rooms were not the cleanest. Cigarette burns on the sheets. The whole place smelled like Marijuana. At least the beds were comfortable. Not a place i would bring my family.

We could definitely tell that they were in process of remodeling much of the building. The beds were comfy and we slept well. Our biggest concern was that the heat in our room did not work, it wasn't unbearably cold, but would have liked it a little warmer. When we told the front desk in the morning, he apologized and said he could've moved our room. Staff was very friendly.
