Our room was spacious and well furnished. The rooftop bar and lounge had an excellent view of the city and the cocktails were great. Drinks were pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Great location, nice rooms, helpful staff. Not giving 5 stars because of something that’s not the hotel’s fault and I would not consider a dealbreaker (but compared to 5 star hotels it’s still a relevant difference): there was a COVID-related policy in place that didn’t allow housekeeping into my room, so I had to go four days without housekeeping. Good hotel regardless.

Positive: Friendly & helpful staff. Awesome location. Alot within walking distance. Modern upscale decor. Secure. Needed key to access room floors. Ended up staying 3 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend staying at this property! Negative: Nothing we didn't like!

If you want to be in with the in crowd, this is the place to be! It has a very VIP or high class feel to it. Located right down town and within walking distance to Chicago’s hottest nightclubs, it has great access and walk ability. The Godfrey is surrounded by many shops and restaurants within blocks of a walk. The rooms were very clean and had beautiful views. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. The bed was amazingly comfortable, hadn’t slept that well in a long time. Only a few downsides, none of which are the hotels fault. The street noise (even on the 16th floor) was very noticeable. To combat this is usually use the air conditioning system and put the fan on manual high. The system used on this property is ultra quiet. It has options for different speeds, but you’ll never know if it’s really on other than the noticiable change in temperature. Really, that’s it for the “negative” aspect of this place. Overall, great place to be. Would totally stay again for pleasure when I can stay up and party with the others!
