Booked a KING SIZE HOTEL ROOM with this hotel. Check in time is clearly marked 3:00pm. The line for check in took AT LEAST 30 MINUTES. The hotel was completely UNPREPARED for an influx of customers due to a concert. I checked in at 4:00pm and was told that no KING SIZE HOTEL ROOMS were available and that there was no estimated time of when a room I paid for would become available. The “best” they could do was a room with two double beds. Furthermore, he stated that the price of a double room and a king room were the same?!? Yea right. Again, “best” they could do was comp the parking fee. If staying in Charlotte for an event DO NOT STAY HERE! Unless you want to be offered something you didn’t pay for or nothing at all.

The hotel online looks very nice however in person it’s a different story. The parking garage is not very lit and it looks sketchy. My room plumbing sucked water was not draining properly. Toilet wouldn’t flush unless you flushed twice. The decor was nice looking however the furniture was peeling bed off the headboard. The next morning when we woke up we noticed a spot between the beds that looked like dried up vomit that housekeeping did not clean up from previous guests. Would not recommend.

My son and I stayed this weekend. Everyone of the staff are friendly and helpful. My coffee pot didn’t work and cleaning staff worked to make sure I got what I needed. Ended up it was the electrical outlet. Hot water was not working and the engineer made sure that he got it fixed for me and gave me free lunch. I appreciate just the kindness. Things happen and they break but this staff is top notch!!!! And the food here is amazing. Thank y’all for making my stay so comfortable.

Lobby is cool, but it’s deceiving. Rooms are small, everything is miniature, even the ice scoopers are made for a baby. Thought the back drop behind the bed was marble, no it’s wall paper designed as a map. Fridge was hot and smelled like fish. I’m currently sitting on the phone calling room service… it’s been 30 minutes. Bathroom, don’t try and fit 2 people in it because you can’t. Went to the roof top bar, bought $15 drinks and immediately left the drinks on the bar because that place was trash. Only reason I give it 2 stars is because the beds are super comfy. Still waiting on room service though, send help.
