I hate to be that person but my experience today was quite different compared to what I am used to. The teller Shante’ was verbally & visibly annoyed by me simply asking for the manager (in a normal, soft tone). I know in these modern times customer service is not of priority for some but I do expect kindness at the very least & not such a casual/laxed environment & tone in a bank setting. Thankfully, the Manager was able to resolve my issue.

Lady at entrance was super rude. Before she can open calendar she said there was no available dates. Didn't have a name tag so idk her name. She needs to work on her customer service.

Great credit union. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They have several security precautions in place. Make sure to notify them if you are going out of state or out of the country. A hold was placed on my credit card when I made a couple of purchases while driving cross country but the security department called me and we got it tuned back on without any delays.

I just recently opened an account with Navy Federal and so far it has been good but today just bothered me. The lady that helped me today wasn’t prepared for work today. I came in to withdraw a specific amount with cents and she looked at me and asked if it had to that amount exactly. I said yes because it’s for a bill ( I don’t like to carry cash on me especially coins) and then she started telling me how it was going to take a while for her to get the pennies and just giving me excuses so I agreed with the amount she told me. Then she just placed my cash and coins on the counter when I asked for an envelope she just pointed at the pile of envelopes and said “Take as Much as you want” I felt like I was getting kicked out of there, Didn’t like her customer service at all. I tried getting her name but all I have is her Employee ID on my receipt.

You should ask them
Credit unions are non profit organizations, so a lot of the time they are going to be on your side when it comes to handling your money, unlike a for profit bank where their goal is to make money. Credit Unions are typically going to have better interest rates on their different accounts as well compared to traditional brick and mortar banks.
