Lots of places to visit. Great selection. Also wonderful area architecture.

Enjoyed walking around this area. Some great art work and reasonable prices. The graffiti on the buildings is a great addition to the artisan atmosphere.

Loving this River Art District in Asheville! 😍. A hub of 300+ artists collective to meet, chat with and appreciate is such a unique experience! HOWEVER, the key locations to visit are scattered and without planning ahead, I accidentally walked 30,000+ steps in 4 hours! 😥 very tired indeed! So, NOTE for future visits: START the day with ULTRA Coffeebar (great coffee and breakfast), THEN park at WEDGE brewing company to visit the studios in its building (also because they open earlier), THEN drive to lunch at 12 BONES (best BBQ in town), visit the street arts, studios, Marquee and have a wine tasting at Plēb Urben Winery nearby before you MOVE to the other side of the railway - the studios on Depot st. near the Magnetic Theatre and, END the day with a meal at Vivian (make sure to reserve a table in advance for this small and special dinner place)! AND that would be a perfect day for River Art District! 👌

Great restaurants and public art. There's also a really nice riverside path and bike lanes

Dear Lola, Yes, many artists will be open on Monday. Not all studios are back open to the public, but many are. Here is a list of current open hours, which may be affected by the holiday: https://www.riverartsdistrict.com/temporary-hours-by-day/
North Carolina Glass Center perhaps? I saw some when I was there in July, 2019.
Hi Simone, The Phil Mechanic Studios will be open from 9-6, and most other people will be closed on Thanksgiving. Almost everyone will be open, however, on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Thank you.
Hello, Some are 9en. Wish I could. Be more Pacific. Enjoy! Hollywood
Please check the glass section on our website. Also a brochure is available on the site and in person. https://www.riverartsdistrict.com/artists-by-medium/glass-metal/ Thank you!
Yes.

the River Arts District is a place where artists make work and we show and sell it to our clients... for antique plates i think you would need to reach out to an antiques dealer? rather than our artists? not sure this will help but i do hope that it does! my best wishes for a happy holiday season!
no... the only place that has legal walls are @ Foundation... here is a link to more info about Foundation Walls Project... https://www.ashevillenc.gov/news/foundation-walls-project-gives-space-to-ashevilles-street-muralists/
