Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I'm sure! The staff at the InterContinental on the Wharf D.C. is all-round amazing. I am so happy we chose this venue for our recent event. Every member of their team is truly hospitable, and they are dedicated to every client’s success and every guest’s experience. The Sales and Event Managers were helpful/agile partners to us through multiple event date and contract changes, thanks Mayte & Alicia! The Banquet Director was dependable at every moment for our 3 day-event and made sure everything was executed to perfection, thanks George! The hosts at the front door/front desk helped all the guests in our room block have an easy and enjoyable stay for the duration of our event. Thanks to all for helping make our event a success!

Hotel is beautiful, modern and yet comfortable. The staff is amazing, from the moment you arrive and are greeted at the door until you depart. The rooms are clean with large windows that provide plenty of light. Bathrooms are beautiful, ours had a large shower and separate bathtub. Love that there is an actual rug (not a towel) to step onto when getting out of shower. An added benefit was being able to turn all lights on/off and adjusting the room climate (heat/ac) with the built-in bedside controls. Lobby is light, airy and clean with plenty of staff to assist with anything you need! Oh and the location is amazing - right on the Wharf! Shops, bakeries and restaurants with plenty of outside seating. This is a beautiful area to take a walk anytime of day or night! We can't wait to go back and I will recommend to friends.

The location is the absolute best if you're going to a concert at The Anthem. Everything about the hotel was lovely, clean, and we'll maintained. Service was perfect. Espresso machine and hot water for tea in the room was a good detail. Of course, this is a very pricey hotel, even for DC. Our room was near the elevator, but there was never a noise issue from outside the room.

The Intercontinental at The Wharf not only has the best views but the best staff as well! Upon arriving I was greeted my some kind gentleman at the entrance who also directed me to the front desk. The checkin experience was quick and easy, the lovey woman who checked me in also gave me a few restaurant recommendations around the area which was great! I was welcome to my room with the tv’s welcoming in as well as complimentary water bottles. What really did it for me was the view, it was fantastic watching the sunset over the water. Everything about our stay was more than amazing! We’ll definitely be back again soon!

No idea about pets. There are free shuttles that will drop you at several great sites. Look it up for a detailed map. I'm sure the Smithsonian is accessible with the shuttle.
You can valet or park in the garage right next to the hotel
No. I dont believe they do.
Actually, the Anthem is only about a 30 second walk from this IC. Practically, right next door
Its not open yet. Check again before you visit.
