Great views and ambiance. They have blue light gas fireplaces in the middle of the group tables which are really nice. I know every review mentions it, the reviews mention it for a reason: they serve you $18 cocktails from plastic cups! ALSO: PARTIES OF 8 OR MORE HAVE A $100 MINIMUM PER PERSON. It's on their website in small print, but that should be in large print.

While the staff was great, the hotel itself cannot call itself luxury by any stretch of the imagination. On our arrival to our rooms, our bedsheets were DIRTY WITH STAINS. I have stayed at 3 star hotels where I have NEVER encountered such an issue. For the prices they charge, the Watergate is absolutely not worth the stay. The only reason this hotel gets ANY stars is because of the staff who took care of us. I definitely don’t include all of the front desk staff in that praise. I also was never contacted about the issue with the sheets. I had to follow up about the issue. We also have not received our itemized bill following check out. I’ve really never been more disappointed with a “luxury” hotel than this one. I will NEVER stay here again. Such a rip off.

100% recommended!! If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one. It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time. Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great. You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC. The architecture is beautiful and bold. The staff is very attentive and always there to help. We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Obviously a great hotel. Beautiful and clean rooms and amenities. So modern and its history is cool and embraced throughout the entire vibe of the hotel. However, I had kindly asked them to put roses in my Suite Room for Valentine's Day, and, after assuring me they would, there were no flowers or anything in the room, and, on top of that, they double charged me and held us up for 30 minutes at Check-In while I was with my girlfriend trying to get to bed late at night(later corrected and attributed to third-party booking?). A final nail in the coffin, in the morning, a hotel representative entered our room without our permission before our Check-Out time to "put the temperature at 72" and apologized because the room was supposed to be "empty." Truthfully it feels like it could be an unlucky experience at a good hotel, and I might even still recommend it if its within your budget for its pure elegance. But I really thought after all that, they'd give me a night free at least.

Yes, our restaurant, Kingbird, offers a breakfast buffet 7 days a week from 6:30am to 10:30 for $29, or choose from our a la carte menu. On weekends, there is an a la carte Saturday Brunch from 11am and Sunday Brunch with a full gourmet buffet from 11:30am for $59.
There is an actual room you can tour.... ask to see the Scandal room! Lots of memorabilia and great history story
Yes, here's the link for detailed information. https://www.thewatergatehotel.com/dine-and-drink/afternoon-tea
Yes, you can access rooftop. While for parking just use road sides to park, we used Park Mobile and were paying through app or you can pay with through those paying kiosks. It will be around $2.75/hour.
Yes I can you see either the green line or the Orange line will bring you to foggy bottom Once you get out of foggy bottom metro station I will put you at George Washington hospital and it's about a 5 minute walk from there to the Watergate hotel also a heads up starting O later this month the Orange and blue line will shut down I think don't "me on that but I really hope this was helpful Gcoad 3 was a better answer sorry
They have a "Scandal Room" you can stay in. Although I don't think it's the exact room that everything occurred however it is themed that way.
I actually don't know as I am not a member of their staff, but I kindly suggest you to contact the hotel. Kind regards.
